Description:
My Macintosh 8600/200 was using System 7.5

I upgrated to System 8.0

Now, whenever I use my MacWrite Pro word processor, version 1.5v3, the sound shoots up to the full volume level. I reset the sound to medium volume and everything works fine with all other applications.

But once I go back to MacWrite Pro, the sound shoots up to the full volume level once again.

Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this?

Check to see if MacWrite has a preference for sound.
