I have facing a problem with having some zzz noise from my Imac G4 (Flat Panel) when my machine is on, can somebody please help me to solve it?

First off, does this noise occur at a particular time? Can you reproduce the noise? or does it just happen at random?

Hi,
This noise sounds like some object spinning inside the CPU when the machine is going to power save mode, everytime happen.

Hi Lee,
It's more than likely a fan or fans making the noise.
One of the disks that came with your iMac should have the label 'Apple Hardware Test'.
Startup off of the disc and run the extended hardware test. Even if it doesn't come up with any errors, it should recalibrate the fans.
