Description:
Using my "Show Baloons" feature, I was browsing thru my System Folder Items. I have several files (listings) that the baloon message said: "THIS IS A DOCUMENT THAT WAS CREATED BY AN APPLICATION PROGRAM THAT IS NOT ON ANY DISK NOW AVAILABLE"
Is it O.K. to trash these files?. I don't really know how they got in the system folder inless it was due to one or two "applications" (?) that I had previously trashed and didn't get all the related files. Your directions will surely be appreciated.
Thanks....Bill

Don't trash those files unless you are "sure" of what they are. The "Show Balloons" feature is not enough to identify needed files. Often, an application will generate system files that are not easily traced to the Application program that created them...they are often necessary support files.
