Description:
in a LAN 10BT composed by one NT Server and 7 Macintosh client (PowerPC MacOS 7.61), appaers this error event message:
"5/30/98 10:50:18 AM MacSrv Error None 12054 N/A SERVER Guest session was timed out and disconnected by the server. The AppleTalk address of the Macintosh workstation is in the data.

5/30/98 10:49:59 AM MacSrv Error None 12053 N/A SERVER Session from user "Roberto" was timed out and disconnected by the server. The AppleTalk address of the Macintosh workstation is in the data."
The Macintosh client "freezes" and appears a message in the same time "the server is disconnetted". The cable, the hub, and adapter are okay on all LAN. No other problem knows. Need solve this problem.

Hi Dario,

I am no expert; but it sounds like you have run into a "disallowed" time in the user profiles of NT server. That will automatically log someone off if the settings are configured a certain way.
