I went ahead and installed Tiger on my Powerbook G4 and then realized that it does not support my Cisco VPN client.

1. Is there a way to connect to my VPN using Tiger?
2. Do I have to uninstall Tiger then re-install OSX?

** Most everything was backed up on my Lacie external drive.

Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kevin,

Tiger broke VPN support for most 3rd party software. I believe the latest Cisco VPN client (4.6.03.0160) supports Tiger, but it still has some major flaws. For more information, see this page:

http://www.macintouch.com/tigerrevie...atibility.html (search for Cisco)

You need to ask your network administrator for the newest client. Hopefully it'll work for you. Also, don't forget to install the 10.4.1 update.

Let me know if you need more information.

Charlie
