I recently installed tiger on my computer. I backed up my old hard drive onto a Lacie hard drive using their silverkeeper software, and then did an "erase and install" with Tiger. When I started up my computer after the install, some of my music was missing. It was in a folder titled iTunes music library or something, and it only had the artists A-C. I tried searching for a few of the artists that should have been in the backed up files, but nothing turned up. What I am wondering is if all that music is lost, or if there is a way that I can retrieve it?

By default iTunes music is stored in your users folder>Music>iTunes>iTunes Music. If you backed up the files correctly and used the default settings your music files should be there. You can also do a search for AAC, MP3, AIFF or any other audio format you use. Chances are your files would be in the folders with those extension in them.
