I use Pro Tools for recording on my Mac. I have a G4. I need to be able to import WAV. files from cd-r's in order to mix songs. Is there a program that will rip the files without turning them into mp3?

Howdy!
I have the Mbox and have done a lot of recording. What format would you prefer instead of mp3? Aiff?
You could use iTunes to import those cd tracks to .aiff format (good for ProTools) by going to PREFERENCES/IMPORTING/IMPORT USING…/AIFF.
Then just grab your .aiff files from your iTunes music folder you've loaded those tunes to.
