I don't know if I am writing to the right place but maybe I can complain to you.
I am having trouble with your Mac Home Journal in that these CD's you send with each one are almost worthless to me. They are full of a bunch of stuff that I am unable to access, or try out, without first installing the progam. I am very careful about installing programs and loading the hard drive up with a bunch of trash... Why don't you include a good uninstall program that will completely remove all that worthless junk after looking at it and deciding to get rid of it....
To make matters worse this months CD (September) will not open at all.. All I get is this message... "There was an error opening this document. A file read error has occured"
So to me these cd's are virtually worthless.. and certainly not worth the extra cost.
When I decided to try them out I subscribed for another year at the increased rate and was under the impression that I was entitled to receive your booklet on hints and tips.
That has been about 4 months ago and I have yet to see that booklet.
One other thing is that your magazine has become too much of a game and kids publication for me and I would like to cancel my subscription. I initially subscribed because I would get some good help and hints in the operation of my computer and I see less and less of that anymore..
Without having an address to contact MHJ and none of your addresses ( Tech Support or quicktips@machome.com) will work I will try to fax this to you.
