Alland,

Hi, my name is Ed. I'm a No Wonder volunteer and will try to answer your question(s). My email address is .

Well, I have some bad news and good news.

The BAD news is that you can't upgrade your PM 7200 to a G3. (Check out )

The GOOD news is that you can't upgrade your PM 7200 to a G3.

Let me explain.

These days, you can get a new G3 iMac for $998. Other G3s aren't that much more expensive. Some close-out bargains and used G3s are even less expensive. These Macs come with high-capacity hard drives, fast CD-ROM drives, etc.

When you upgrade your 7200, all you change is the CPU and cache. Future MacOS will probably not be compatible with G3 upgrades. The upgrade will cost you several hundred dollars.
