Can a G4imac be upgraded to OSX.
I also have a Powerbook G3 can that be upgraded to OSX if not can it be upgraded to OS9, If so is this a free download or do you have to purchase the upgrade?

I have owned two different G4 iMacs. They came with OSX as the default operating system. I believe they had version 10.2.x. So when you say upgrading to OS X, do you actually upgraading to 10.4? If so, the answer is yes. The current owners of those G4 iMacs have successfully upgraded to Tiger.

Thank you for your reply.
Now that I have read your reply I am not sure weather it is a G4 or a G3 it is a green colour and the operating system that came with it is MacOS 8.6.

I want to upgrade it to OS9 or 9.2.2
