WHEN CONNECTING ZIP AND JAZ SCSIS TO POWERMAC, I CAN'T SEE THE ZIP DRIVE! I AM DESPERATE!
PLEASE HELP ASAP!

Hi Sue:

A little more detail would be helpful to help you solve the Zip/Jaz problem, but the following questions come to mind:

1. Have you ensured there are no SCSI ID conflicts? i.e., that the ID for your Zip is not set to something already in use, such as 3 (internal CD), or any other disk connected to your computer.

2. Do you have the Iomega drivers installed? The drive will only behave as a removable media unit if the drivers are installed (otherwise, it will appear to the computer as a fixed hard disk, provided there's a disk in it when the system boots).
