Here's my configuration:

G4/400 running Mac OS X 10.4.2 with an Epson CX5400 all-in-one printer attached to the USB port.

I have gone through the setup in System Preferences and enabled Printer Sharing from the Mac. The printer shows up and works OK.

I have a D-Link wireless router with a 4-port switch. The Mac is directly hardwired and I am able to share folders from the PC to the Mac, but NOT the other way around (that's another issue). IP address is 192.168.0.127

IBM Laptop running Windows XP Pro connected to my home network wirelessly. IP address is 192.168.0.105. Both computers are able to share the Internet connection fine.

I have attempted to run the Add Printer wizard but I get to the point where is asking me for a network address. I've entered \\192.168.0.127 but it tells me that it can't find a printer at this location. I'm stumped from this point on?

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance!

/Joe

Do you see it from Windows when you browse?

If you enter a server name you must also enter the printer share. Thus, \\192.168.0.127 is only the server name. Something like \\192.168.0.127\hpprinter is correct.
