When I am using Safari (I use version 1.3) and begin typing in a wedsite address and "window" drops down and shows a list of some of the websites I have been to in the past. If I type in www.A.... it starts with all the A websites I have looked at etc.
How do I erase this history and prevent it from being recorded?
Thanks for the help!

Address autocomplete is part of the functionality of the browser History and of Bookmarks. You can clear your history at the bottom of the History menu. I don't know, however, of any third party utility that turns off the History function. (Safari 2.0, in Tiger, contains a Private Browsing feature that allows this.)

Further, I don't think you can turn off autocomplete. It's there to make browsing easier. If this is not the case for you, then you need to invest in a more full-featured browser like OmniWeb, which allows you to turn off auto completion.
