TICKET ARCHIVE -> Tiger And Profilemaker/dongle

Installing Tiger was a disaster - I lost everything on my internal drive and am now reloading.
Most programs seem to be reloading OK but I have ProfileMaker with a Spectrolino which I use for my monitor calibration. Program seems to load OK but when I lauch it, it doesn't recognize the dongle (and therfore will only run on demo mode -which is no help). Does anyone know why dongle isn't recognized (it is plugged in, the light blinks, it should stay on).
Seemed that aladdin wasn't set up properly. I downloaded with item for Tiger. I uninstalled all but when I install the new made for Tiger I get something created in 2003. ALso don't see a version of stuffit is this normal? Could either of these things be creating my problem.
Am a photographer, need to get the Spectrolino working as quickly as possible. Many thanks for any ideas.

There is a recent update for ProfileMaker 5 (version 5.0.4) with a date of June 2005. This may be one of the fixes with that update, for compatibility with Tiger. There could be other issues, and you should contact either the publisher for ProfileMaker, or the Spectrolino. I hope that the update will get you going again.

I downloaded an upgrade but still no success with getting the dongle to be recognized. Had hoped to resolve this over weekend but think I'll have to wait until Monday to find someone who can help at Gretag or Thetascan. - Elizabeth
