TICKET ARCHIVE -> Using Both Firewire Ports (400 + 800) At the Same Time

Can I plug and use both firewire ports on my powerbook G4 at the same time? I.e. having a video camera feed to the FW800 port while sending the captured material to an external drive connected to de FW400 port.

Hi Ale

Yes, should be no problem. The 400 and 800 use different controllers.

Correction, they are on the same bus, but should work like you want.
