This would be your opportunity to try that out, then.
Here's another choice:
Forget burning Leopard to an optical disk.
Make a partition on an external hard drive, 8 GB is ideal.
Use Disk Utility, and restore that Leopard installer .dmg to that hard drive partition. Then, you can boot to that partition to install Leopard. It will be significantly faster to install, too.
Of course, that's all assuming that you have an external drive with FireWire.
