I've used AppZapper, but I've noticed that it doesn't get everything. So I delete the program in the Application folder then look in my Library and look in the Application support folder to see if the Application made one, and then delete it. Another way in 10.4 and 10.5 is I use the spotlight and also remove the pref files but agree on the lazy way AppDelete or CleanApp or AppZapper.
