It's ok if the HD is toast it didn't have anything important on it. During the boot picker I can see both the HD and the CD. I'm sure of which is which by the way. Partly because under the CD one it says "mac OSX disc 1" and under the hard drive it says the name of the hard drive.

ows server 2003 r2, so i do not have to worry about maintenance, bandwidth, power outage etc. After all power outages are quite often here in florida and a power backup system only does the job for an hour or so. And they can last much longer here, specially after thunderstorms or hurricanes. ...
