This drive will become my work drive. But I want to be able to take home a backup of it overnight for access and security reasons. So I am wondering if I can plug a USB portable drive into it? ...

ill do a hell of a lot better job of backing up then the WD software. Its like having an image that gets updated every hour of every machine and once the initial backup is done you won't even notice the incremental backups going in the background. Not to mention you set it and forget it. ...

Hi Support Crew... I have a 13" MacBook(2,1). Today, I had the Iomega drive plugged in via USB, along with my soundcard (MOTU 828mk2) plugged in via FW. This is a very normal setup for me which has been bug free since I bought this computer over 2 years ago. When I plugged in my iPhone via USB I got an error message which comes up when you incorrectly remove a device....

I finally got it up and running again! I did a time machine restore again, but this time, I formatted the drive under disk utilities instead of just using the reformat that time machine does, restarted the computer, and restored the time machine backup. Booted right up! Thanks for the help.
