I was deleting many TM dayly backups, but after exiting TM, i would see in the finder that the delete windows wouldnt stop, so i figured to relaunch the finder hoping that this would end. Well i made a restart too and then although in TM those backups seemed to be deleted, the HD space was unchanged, as if they hadnt been deleted! What should i do now?

u might try running "migration assistant" from the system you now have installed, there is an option in there to restore data from another disk or a Time Machine backup disk. ...

I'd figure "macfixer" would have all these answers. :p In the Time Machine preferences are you sure under options that you didn't select to leave the system folder out under "Exclude these items from backup:"? Even if you perhaps did this you can still load a system then use migration assistant before or after setting up a user to restore from a Time Machine Backup. Worse...
