BBEdit

Dreamweaver, GoLive, NVU (NVU is free), Smultron and SubEthaEdit (and BBEdit) if you want just / mostly html.

I'd still prefer BBEdit. So find an older version that will run on you computer. As to the slow issue, well 10.2 is just plain slow. If you upgrade to 10.3, you'll get better performance all around and increase you compatibility with modern software. Time and time again, I've seen how 10.3 is just plain faster than 10.2 on the same hardware configuration.

My apologies for misunderstanding your post -I normally use BBEdit, so I'm not as familiar with DW -but I still do know it, and yes, I quite understand the difference and know how to set one up. I did create a pop up menu in DW and it worked fine (after quitting, waiting, relaunching, etc...). Are you creating these menus in DW or Fireworks (which can be imported into DW)?...

Use the 'GO' menu to go to ' /etc/cups/' Open the file 'printers.conf' from within BBEdit or another text editor If it don't open, you'll have to use 'Get Info' to change the privileges. Change the IP address in that file.

Ok I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 on my 350 mhz G3 w/896mb RAM running 10.2.8 Awesome features but it is so slow! Is there a better one with possibly the same features for my OS version?? BBEdit 8.x only works on 10.4. Also, which ones have inline syntax checking?? A tall order I know but please be so kind as to enlighten me!

getbuild" has appeared on my HD as well. Mine appears to be related to installing "Ventrilo" application. Perhaps yours is similar. Open the file using BBedit or a text editor and see what's there. ...
