I think it does; however, the Disk Utility is a "static" program in that it exists, in time, when it was loaded to your disk you use. In the future you may wish to invest in a repair program or use Disk Utility on the start up disks you got with the computer. Will save you a trip AND possible $$$. You MAY have already done this, but when I upgraded to 10.5 got the security/stuff upgrade to 10.5.5 . . . my fonts were wrong for both FF and Safari as well.
