ing went for a break...came back and the cursor moved as expected but no interaction with folders, HD, etc... restarted and it just spun...started up from Alsoft DiskWarrior 4.1 CD and it starts to rebuild the directory, but only gets to step 5, "locating directory data" and stays in that mode 4ever... ...

Hi kisuk3, thank you for your help. No I didn't have any kernel panic messages or anything. Every thing (?) seems to run well but DiskWarrior. I never have any other applications open when I run DiskWarrior. I followed your advise and went to versiontracker. Yes, I do have the latest Version of DW 4.1.1.
