Font Book

I work on a mac. Recently I have been sent a flash campaign to resize. they included a folder full of font files with a .AFM extension. My mac can't seem to figure out what these are. I use mac os x. Does anyone know what these are and how to make them work? ...

i dont know why this happened, and ive tried readding them to font book but it doesnt do anything... again, havent really done anything in the past few days but they all just stopped working... ahhH! ...

anyone else having this problem? i installed panther last night, and immediately opened font book and deleted their preset "sets" (didn't delete the fonts FROM fontbook... just the sets...) i have no idea if it was doing it before this or not, but now basically everything that was supposed to be "helvetica" shows up as "helvetica fractions"... i attached screenshots... any...

Could be a damaged system font. You could do a scan for font problems with your Font Book app. ...
