Hey Folks, I want to use my trusty harman / kardon Soundsticks to blast my Guitar Hero jammings, but since they are USB, I don't think they'd work with a device like the Xbox 360 (the 360 has USB ports; it's the driver that would be the problem I think). I think the solution is to connect a Y-adapter (left/right female connector to male minijack / see attachment) to my...

It's not really haha-funny, Jesse. The soundsticks are _great_ speakers that come at a price. You don't simply want to replace them with some cheapish Bose or Sony speakers. ;) I would contact Harman/Kardon about it. Maybe they have an idea what could be going wrong. Would probably be power-supply related. You could, for the time being, plug them into a adapter with a real...

Now maybe the turn should be for Harman Kardon who, sometime ago, sold me some their Soundsticks audio speakers. Recently, the transformer died, and of course, Harman Kardon had a very specific connector plug. ...

I recently broke the soundjack in my Powermac (I heard an audible *snap* and it stopped working alltogether, and for that matter, there's nothing going through the outputs in terms of current so it's definitely broken properly). Now I'm left with two options, either weld it back since it's properly just one little connection that's broken. Or get a new card alltogether. I...

Yes the Cube had a USB speaker set from harman kardon, but the Apple Pro speakers provided with an iMac flat panel (as mentioned above) have a proprietary connector. That plugs in to a connector on any iMac G4, and any G4 PowerMac introduced after the Cube. Apple dropped that connector for G5s and later.
