when i go to open ichat. photobooth and iphoto they do not open they bounce up and down like they want to open but they just stop like i never clicked on it to open. what do i do to fix it

OK I was blind. Sorry about that. However i did follow all the steps but I guess a Sony HDV cam is not recognized by iChat.

Sorry- Im sure you guys probably get this 100 times a day... I've tried to read up on websites on how to fix it- but I don't know which version of OnyX to download and I can't find the folder in Application Support to delete stuff that uncompatable.... I am no very good a computers so any help would be appreciated. It crashed extremely often and whenever I open a site...
