Internet Connect

For some reason Internet Connect seems to be messing up my system. ...

Internet Connect Freeze is fixed (i hope). the "freeze" used to happen when connecting to the net...all the cpu power was taken by "pppd" sometimes for up to 10 minutes before the modem started. i havent had a freeze since i updated. and i hope i never have one again.

Everytime I connect to the internet with Internet Connect, launch iTunes, cruise the internet with Netscape 6 or OmniWeb, OR play Quake3Arena, disconnect and try to reconnect sometime later, my computer stops playing MP3's and I get the spinning beachball of death. I'm talking a total lockup - nothing works. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I suspect it's abug because...

Wasn't able to get hold of 10.1 yet. I wonder whether they did anything with "Internet Connect", in my eyes the worst app in the whole of OS X. Why, it normally takes 15-20 tries for me to get online. This may be my ISP's fault, it has also sth. to do with the poor quality of my telephone line. Okay.
