iSync

I haven't posted this djackmac, but the Ask a Tech - team has, after they found themselves unable to solve the problem. I myself have posted this on two different places. First the Hardware and Peripherals forum and then when it seemed to be a software related problem I posted it on the Mac OS X System and Mac Software forum. Problem solved. Someone named Steko on the Apple Discussions Forum gave me the advice to open iSync, open Preferences and click on Reset Sync History. To my relieve this completely did the trick. After that Mail uses around 30% of CPU when downloading new messages and 0,0% when sitting idle. This had no effect on the temperature whatsoever. I'm glad this one's solved....

First reset the sync data shown here on the server (with a known good main machine). After uploading the new data to the sync server go back to the main Mac and make a fake iCal event. Then sync (on both Macs) and see if it syncs correctly this time. Good Luck.

isync does not recognize the ipod touch so I cannot move the info from my palm desktop application to the touch. I have also tried to export the palm info in vcal format but it will not gve me the export option when I try that. Any other suggestions?
