There are two options that ship with every copy of MacOS X--the Terminal and Xterm (as part of your X11 installation). A free opensource alternative is iTerm. MacWise is not free, but there is no better terminal emulator available for MacOS 9 or MacOS X.

Hello. I have a problem when I connect to any *nix server through terminal (or iTerm) and run mc there. Biggest problem is that I get weird "a" symbols instead of borderlines of windows.
