My husband downloaded the latest version of Itunes so he could synchronize it with his Iphone. Now I can't access the ITunes store and ITunes is telling me that to do this, I need to download Safari 4.0.3...however my Mac isn't powerful enough to take this ! ...

What kind of wireless security are you using? Is it filtering by MAC address or WEP?

I can reboot the Apple TV it will ask which network to access. I point it to mine, it requests the password and it takes and then nothing shows up in iTunes. Very Frustrating.

Open iTunes, go to "Preferences" and click on the Apple TV tab. Make sure "Look for Apple TVs" is checked and see if you see your Apple TV on the list above.

Thank you for your response. I have set up a network using an Airport Express. Like I said the Apple TV recognizes it and log's on. I just can not see it in iTunes.

Just after it starts up immediately launch the application in the folder /Applications/Utilities/Console and this will show the logs in OS X this way you might be able to trace down what is waking up your Mac.

110 is high for just mail :) Right now i am idling in safari, skype, mail, ical, Word2008, preview, iTunes Textedit and OmniOutliner and am running at about 10% total cpu load - my machine is new yes but not _that_ much faster. try EDCC's idea - which is as easy as Mailbox>Rebuild.
