Apologies to all the respondents for not putting this solution up earlier. Had issues !!! Anyway...it turns out that the way to solve this conundrum is that you have to take your movies convert into apple TV format and re add them to itunes. Then you can share them across the machines no problem. Hope that helps anyone else who comes across this. Thanks

If one of you has a MobileMe account, one can use AddressBook (without MobileMe synching!) to sync addresses to the iPhone, while the other only synchs contacts via MobileMe. So you can still use the same iTunes library (but different playlists or artist selections).

I have a MacBook Pro connected to an Airport Express and a mini WiFi network in my hotel room. The Apple TV connects fine to the network however I can not see it in iTunes. Any solutions? Mike P.S. New Mac user (MacDummy) Thanks

I too have this problem. I just got a new imac and migrated my old stuff to the new computer. I'm using a user account this time instead of my admin account and wonder if this might have something to do with it? This and the fact that I can no longer use my CS3 products ("license has stopped working") is driving me crazy!

My iPod Classic isn't being recognized by iTunes (this has always worked fine until now). I have an iMac. The iPod connects fine and is shown on the desktop, but not recognized in iTunes. My other iPods are recognized in iTunes, just not the Classic. I have reset it, installed latest iTunes, nothing works. The iPod works fine.
