Leopard

I'm in Snow Leopard since some weeks ago, and my keynote (which I use and need A LOT) hangs when I try to paste an image!!!! I heard thath some other users have had this problem. Anybody found a solution???? Please!!! and Thanks!!!!! (from Uruguay)

Above solution (file /etc/rc.local). There is no such file on my system (Snow Leopard). Should I create it? (Sorry. Mac/Unix beginner here)
