I have a d-link 300u print server that works fine with Windows computers. It used to work on a mac with osx, but stopped working and cannot get it to start. It is constantly giving "looking for printer" message in print window and "connection failed" in Finder. This stopped working before I updated to Snow Leopard. No problem with printing from windows computers.

Not through this forum, no. It's legal to run Snow Leopard Server in a virtualized environment (as per the EULA). It is not legal to do so with regular Snow Leopard (as per the EULA). There are other forums and websites that will help you all day with this -- this is just not one of those forums.
