I second Migration Assistant. It can take several hours depending on the amount of data being moved, but it is plug-and-play easy. I just migrated my sister from her G4 iBook to her new MacBook Pro (PPC to Intel, Panther to Leopard) with not one hiccup.

Batteries are usually only covered for a year so that boat has long since sailed.

I'm just now having this problem after having my 15" macbook pro for 3 years, and I'm just wondering if it's too late to call and get a replacement battery? Are they still doing that? Or can you only get it under a warranty - because after 3 years I doubt I still have mine.

Hi. I have a Macbook Pro 13" the touchpad works well but its left button seems not to work properly: I have no problem using "Tap to Clic" and "Secondary Tap" fonctions. However, when I CLIC on the left side (left corner) of the touchpad nothing happens though it works when I use the right side. Is it a material problem or just configuration ? Thank for you answers.
