can i have both virtual box and bootcamp installed? is there a special order i have to install them in? can i make them share the disk space (when setting the programs up, you have to choose a part of the hard drive u want to give them. can they both have the same part of the hard drive?)? thanks already, WL7

Need to get back running Outlook in Windows, and thus looking if to install Parallels. The question is how large partition on the disk is needed, if using Win XP plus Office 2007 in Windows side? The Outlook file size is currently about 1.5GB.

Hi all I have used bootcamp (Vista 32) with Parallels 4 and everything was ok But after upgrading to Parellels 5 my audio stopped working Reinstalling Parallels didn't help In bootcamp al is working fine.

I have a 32gb vm of xp i set up, which has about 13 used. It has just office really (though with a lot of mails) and maybe 4gb max of other stuff. So Maybe my minimal setup is with Office is around 9gb? How big is your HD, and what kind fo mac is it. If you have the space, 32gb seemed a nice amount to assign to parallels. I doubt it as installing via bootcamp is very much a special case of Windows installation - it was under 10.5 but i had issues with for instance using restore disks, as i could not boot to them - the only way i could boot an install disk was for totally reinstalling the win partition. You could try though i guess, but i;d think youd have to create the partion then use...

You could use Boot Camp of course but that wouldn't be too fun for rebooting the system in the other OS. So your best bets are VMware Fusion, or Parallels, for running a Windows OS and using Access in it. Then just copy and paste and drag and drop and whatnot if you want to store the file primarily on Mac. Blame Microsfot for not making Access really available on other than...
