I have installed Free AVG and Windows Defender on Parallels. When you install these, are they supposed to check for updates and download them automatically and preferably in the background? Do I need to set that somewhere? On Windows Defender, when I click Check for Updates Now, I get this error message that reads: The program can't check for the definition updates....

Everything should be in a Parallels folder. On my system, it's in the Documents folder. Search for "XP" on your system and you should find it. ...

I want to move the whole shebang from one Mac to another. Is it possible without having to install Parallels, Win XP and all the installed applications? Is it possible using fire wire? At the very least, can I just install Parallels, XP and migrate all the other installed applications and files on that virtulization? Can I do this without Migrating any of the Mac...

t can use your Boot Camp partition. In this case, you would more than likely want to partition and install Windows via Boot Camp first, then install and "point" Parallels to your Boot Camp partition for use. It doesn't have to be in this order, though. ...
