Photo Booth

I recently did the latest software update to 10.4.8 Since then Photo Booth does not work at all. The screen is completely dark where before I could take photo's with it now I can't. What has happened? ...

Nope......same message......camera in use by another application. I shut down & restarted to be sure nothing is running. Still same response. Terry
