r burned from Popcorn after Mac the Ripper. It either freezes afetr a few seconds or spits it out. Disks play fine on G5 superdrive Macs and regular DVD players. ...

To burn video DVD's to it that are larger than this, I recommend Roxio Popcorn or DVD2OneX. ...

Thankyou Albloom for the support about Popcorn, I didn't realise there was an upgrade available. It's back to its old self again! Yay! With regards to the sticky capitals though, no there's nothing in between the keys, I have a skin on my keyboard so that doesn't happen. It's been sticky since I bought my mac. If memory serves, and it hasn't for years, neither Disk Utility nor a Finder Burn will yield a usable DVD from an MTR rip. DVDs are in a special format, UDF I think, that OSX eschews. Toast or Popcorn will do the trick (both Roxio commercial products). Toast is pricier. Popcorn is designed especially for DVD movies, and even does the compression for you so you don't...
