Quicksilver

Question: Will this computer be good for some light movie editing and watching home videos and youtube? Cause my g3 is too slow to play any videos. I just want to know to get some advise if this is a really good deal or i should just save up more money and buy a newer mac. Thanks. The thing to do to get around this is to not have iCal kept as a Dock item but to launch it when you need it either by using Spotlight or if you have it installed, QuickSilver, and don't tick the "Keep in Dock" option ... This will have iCal display the correct date for you. So if this is the fix for you, grab the iCal Dock icon and drag it off and watch it disappear...

Personally I kill the dock and launch everything from Quicksilver, so QS & Path Finder are the only apps that I have running at all times for sure.
