This month I had to replace the logic board on my 2002 G4 Quicksilver. I have been trying to install my Postscript fonts in Font Book but font will not show up there, although they do appear in the Library/Fonts folder in the User section of the hard drive. Can anyone suggest a fix?

"Junk" on your hard drive does not affect the speed of your computer in any fashion, unless there's so much junk that you've consumed more than 90% or so of the hard drive space. Everyone here is a VOLUNTEER so take that for what's it is worth. So you have three Leopard OS X Macs that work with no problem. So one of the Macs have a problem. Have you tried to boot into Single-User Mode yet and tried to run /sbin/fsck -fy? This is to see if the hard drive went south.
