Quicktime

I've looked at other threads to find the answer to this... but my iTunes keeps quitting unexpectedly after loading for only a few seconds. I've tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it, moving my library around, but nothing seems to work. As far as I can tell there aren't any applications that I'm running at the same time that compromise it. I'm no mac-brain by any means....

Concerning 4, this means QT X is a viewer. And for the rest we are probably expected to use iMovie or other editing applications.
