I’ve recently bought a PowerMac G4, everything is in order but it has no operating system. I’ve downloaded some .iso disc on my Windows XP Media Edition; I’m not sure what to do now? Do I burn the iso files to a disc and load it into the PowerMac G4? Or is there something else to do? Also can I burn them unto a CD-R or an USB Thank you. You're help will be very accommodating.

Try trashing Screen Saver preferences (com.apple.screensaver.plist) and logging out/in. Tiger didn't have Spaces, so it might not be Spaces-related.

"Junk" on your hard drive does not affect the speed of your computer in any fashion, unless there's so much junk that you've consumed more than 90% or so of the hard drive space. Installed programs that run in the background (99% of apps do not do this), like Launch Bar, Quicksilver, or other "always-on, never quit" applications can slow a system down, so check your "Login...

I have Tiger. When I open the Network system preferences, it pops up a dialogue which says, "Your network settings have been changed by another application." I dismiss it, but it pops up again. I dismissed it dozens of times but it keeps coming back.
