How about iBank ? To keep time on projects for clients try The Billings 3 Application. Plus there is iBiz and iRatchet. then there is the oldie but goodie FileMaker. I hope one of these might help your situation. Good luck.

Chicken of the VNC hasn't really been updated since 2006. And the copy-paste queries are since before then. Newest is still 2.04 beta from 2006, listing 10.4 as highest system requirement.
