Preview is, well, for previewing. SO, no way to actually save a slideshow, and the option to restart automatically just isn't there in preview. There lots of other software that will give you that type of slideshow. iPhoto will do that easily. iMovie, and QuickTime player should do that, if you have upgraded to QuickTime Pro. You are asking the wrong question. You don't want to change the file type, you want a Flash Video player. Alternatively, you may get a converter that will convert your video into a different format. But do you really want to convert anything? There are applications available that not only download from YouTube, but also play the videos. You may find several here.
