and it is not an emulator, but more akin to old 360+ VM systems where the whole machine is virtualized by trapping the privileged hardware access. This is difficult to do on x86, because not all accesses are trapped by the hardware; VMware is a great accomplishment, and really helps when you need to edit a Visio slide on a FreeBSD laptop :)

Okay. I'm not sure exactly what you did on the PC to back things up. Did you use a specific tool that's now required to retrieve the backup, maybe? If so, you might be out of luck in that you'll actually need Windows in order to run that specific software. It would be much easier if you only had copied the actual files. Or do you want to "revive" the PC within VMware? If...

Backups.backupdb in the trash and then clicked on WDSync utility folder and it has one file in it called "autorun.inf". When I click on the file the application VMware Fusion takes me to a windows screen with a windows version of "notepad".... ...

kettle of fish and the one thing to remember is the Leopard Disk has Windows drivers for all the little things in your Mac. Plus a lot of switchers really like VMWare Fusion. ...

I had the exact same problem, unfortunately any video adapter will not work in BootCamp. That is why I use VMware Fusion so that I can have Windows on the TV (well back in the day when Netflix was only for Windows). So unfortunately there is nothing you can do.
