One thing you have to know ISP monitor the device by MAC address that is right behind the modem. So when you put new things on the internet modem you must power it down for 5 minutes so the ISP server will re-issue the IP and reset the MAC address it is looking for. You best bet would be ISP modem to router (wired) and let that router do NAT (IP Sharing in Airport Extreme). Any router after that should NOT being doing NAT (connection Sharing). I would like to have the audio file play automatically as soon as it is received. I've been VoIP for almost 5 years with a SIP service (not Vonage). VoIP uses surprisingly little bandwidth, you should be fine. Although, lack of QoS is something that is *sorely* missing from Apple networking hardware.
