Outlook 2011 for mac issue - Need to add account again after restart

I am using outlook to access my work emails only. I don't have any other profile set up. And just a reminder, its not quitting outlook and restarting that loses the profile, its rebooting the mac, then I need to re-enter the account settings, so it seems like it's not "remembering" the profile...

Outlook 2011 for mac issue - Need to add account again after restart

Thanks for your replies. All software is up to date. There is no default profile there either. Its the full paid version of outlook, not a trial. I've only recently added the account to be able to access work emails from home.

Outlook 2011 for mac issue - Need to add account again after restart

As the title says, whenever I reboot my mbp, outlook "loses" the information and I need to add the account details again. It does seem though that the mailbox and folders are "hidden" somewhere though, because once I've added the account info, the messages re-appear very quickly, in fact a lot...

    Thunderbolt Display Not waking up

Update from me here. Since updating to Mavericks, all is now rosy in the sleeping and waking garden, so it was obviously a software issue. Hope that helps anyone else with this issue. Thanks to all for their inputs

    Thunderbolt Display Not waking up

update. Tried connecting MBP with a friends TBD with the same result. So I deduce that it is an issue with the laptop, not the display. Anyone know of a "script" or automator activity that may reboot the thunderbolt port after waking from sleep ? Seems a bit convoluted but if this at all...

    Thunderbolt Display Not waking up

I need to test the MBP with another TBD to see if it's A) The display (if its the display then Apple will repair once Ive bought the extended applecare) B) The cable ( I can get a new one) C) if it works fine on another display then its probably a laptop issue and thats something I may have to...

Dual Drives. Have I set it up correctly ?

OK, I'll consider the fusion drive later on. I think I should do it though as I have duplicates all over the place as I'm concerned if I delete too much I may well delete the wrong thing !! When it comes to swapping the drives round, is it just a screwdriver job ? As I mentioned I currently...

Dual Drives. Have I set it up correctly ?

OK, understand re the space not being enough to worry about. When it comes to swapping them round, do I just take it apart, swap them round and thats it ? Or is there more to it than meets the eye. If I go the fusion drive route, would you still recommend swapping them ? I found an instruction...

Dual Drives. Have I set it up correctly ?

MBP 13" early 2011. Last year I bought an SSD and changed out my optical drive for a (an?) SSD. Used CCC to transfer programs apps etc. onto the new SSD, set that up as the start up disk in system preferences. Question. Can I now delete OSX from the original hard drive (still in the MBP) or...

    Thunderbolt Display Not waking up

So, I've reset the PRAM, the SMC, reinstalled Mountain Lion, done the software updates, tried in the various sleep modes, manually putting to sleep, and allowing auto sleep, but still no joy. What else can I try ?

    Thunderbolt Display Not waking up

no difference between the sleep modes, both have the same negative effect. I'll need a quick lesson to reinstall mountain lion. Will I lose any data off my disk ? Do I need to carbon copy or super duper. or is there a "quick"way that will let me reinstall just mouton lion whilst keeping...

    Thunderbolt Display Not waking up

Apologies if this is posted elsewhere but I couldn't find it. I'm running a macbook pro early 2011. Got myself a lovely new display recently but once laptop is sleep, on waking the display won't turn on. I need to unplug the thunderbolt cable and replug it to get it to wake up. Any ideas what I...

    Network Security using Powerline

Hi. I am using wireless. The signal just doesn't reach to all parts of the house, so plugging in power line in other rooms gives me better coverage. The problem is the signal sent from the power line adapters is not secure, so I need to instigate a password.

    Network Security using Powerline

Hello, Hope this is an easy one for you clever people. I've got terrible WIFI at home, even with a super fast wireless router. Consequently I have bought a TP LINK powerline adaptor kit, that works through the power wires in the house. It works perfectly but my question is how do I enable...
