    By faded, I mean that the colors on the screen in the top left corner are considerably lighter than the rest of the screen, especially when there's a dark image on screen. The blacks almost appear white. Do you reckon it could be anything to do with the battery, as when the laptop is folded...

    I have had a PowerBook G4 for approximately 3.5 years, and the top left hand corner of the screen has become slightly faded. Any ideas what may have caused this problem?
