I dont know what he was doing with the OSX CD. I did try to boot off of the CD, zapped the PRAM, I reset the power Manager... no luck. Any ideas?

I have Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 running on my 7500/200 at home. And it is running on 2 iMacs here at my school. KDE is kind of slow on my 7500/200, but runs great on the G3 iMacs. Installing YDL was a lot easier than I thought. give YDL a try. :)

Is there a way to find out how long a user has been logged in? Over a period of a week/month? At school we get a monthly report of how long a user was logged in. We have a FreeBSD server and everyone uses Nifty Telnet to login over the network. But I want to able to see this info on my OS X...

Like KDE ? On my 7500/200 running Yellow Dog Linux with KDE... I have a monitor that has a native resolution of 800X600. but the desktop is set at 1024X768. To move the screen around you just push your pointer to the edge of the screen. I would also like to see the Finder icon in the dock...

But he is right. The floppy was going to phase out anyway. Who cares is Apple did it first. Adding a zip drive would be an OK idea... but I think that zip will be going the way of floppy in a few years anyway.
