My iBook gave me no problems at all, in fact it worked perfectly up until this last week when I sold it (I miss it already), I will probably be stupid with my money and buy a new one when it comes out... doh! Reasons I like the iBook: -It's price to quality ratio, high quality, cheap price...

Where as I've pretty much fully switched back ;) 99.9% of my computing is one windows desktops, my iBook gets the rare portable use... I wonder how it does count the people who use multi-os... iiiiinteresting...

could always just reinstall things from scratch, if the hardware works fine i dont see why i would take it back, as long as they still offer warranty etc... but thats me, I'm lazy ;)

looks to be going fine on my iBook G3 800mhz... (10.4 is definitely the last OS for this guy, it's already feeling old)

once again I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE LAWSUIT I simply reported what I saw on a news site, that doesnt mean that I agree with the lawsuit. *sigh*

No one is saying that the lawsuit is correct. The lawsuit is crap. No one is defending the lawsuit itself. But what I am saying, and what dduck is saying, is that the nano *does* scratch very easily and thats not a good thing. Especially for something thats marketed as being carried in...

*note* this doesnt mean i agree with said lawsuit, but i do think that apple dropped the ball putting the same or less coating on something that supposedly is supposed to be a pocket item.

See the only thing that I personally think is different is the way they marketed it. I think the nano is put in a position that its going to get scratched more simply because they are kinda marketing as something you slip in your pocket, whereas the ipod is generall a case on the belt type of...

As much as I dont like his tactics, I have to agree, every nano ive seen has been in pretty bad shape, but at the same time i don't know exactly what they have been through. Do we have any nano owners here?
