I am trying to install ffmpegx on my 10.4.2 system. I am trying to install the components (mencoder, etc.). I enter the password and press install and I get an error message stating that the username and/or password is incorrect. Any ideas?

I have OS 10.4.2 installed and ever since upgrading to Tiger my Mail has been vanishing from some of my folders. I have tried numerous solutions (rebuilding the e-mail folders, repairing permisions). However, it still happens and frequently.
